Headphones used with the BBC OBA/8 amplifier, probably made by SG Brown c.1938. Bakelite earpieces. Long greenish cloth-insulated cable terminated with red phone connector. Can go with 2012-5118/250 and other OBA/8. The OBA/8 was developed for radio outside broadcasts in the late 1930s. It was used extensively for both radio and early TV OBs and continued in service well after its successor (OBA/9) was introduced.
