BBC AC Test Bay (mobile), 1960. This is a 19-inch bay comprised of 10-15 valve era rack-mounted BBC audio test components, including: Tone Source (BBC code TS/10); a BBC metering unit; 2 x dual Attenuator Panels (BBC code AT/30); and a BBC standard level panel.
A fully-equipped AC Test Bay had the number AC/55 - a 19-inch bay of equipment for the audio-frequency testing of sound apparatus and the audio-frequency and direct current testing of lines. At small centres where the full facilites were not required the bay was supplied partially equipped as necessary to suit the requirements of the particular station.
