LSU/4A Studio loudspeaker, 1942. Full BBC number is LSU/4A/937. Wartime austerity model with flat plywood baffle. Light oak finish veneer (minor damage to veneer at bottom left). Incorporating Loudspeaker Amplifier LSM/6 and Mains Unit MUE/1B.
It was used for low quality monitoring only due to poor bass response.
