BBC UN2/503A Colour Calibrator & Sync Detector, c.1972.

An example of a BBC "white fronted unit", it is a calibration waveform generator primarily intended for the luminance/chrominance calibration of oscilloscopes. It could also be used to calibrate colour bar generators. The UN2/503A is a later version of the UN2/503 Colour Calibrator, which it superseded.
