AKG CK-8 short-shotgun capsule for AKG C-450 or C-451 microphone, 1969-1994. Designed primarily for effective medium-distance dialogue pickup in film and television work (where it can be kept out of camera range on a boom or fishpole), this capsule can also be used at closer distances (hand-held or stand-mounted) in unusually noisy or feedback-prone locations. Condenser. Short-shotgun hypercardioid pick up pattern. Foam removed from factory case (decaying).
