STC 4037D Dynamic long stick microphone, c.1961.

Long-body version of the 4037, used as a hand-held reporter's microphone. Its "neat and unobtrusive appearance", made possible by the microphone's slim shape and black shrivel enamel paint, meant these omnidirectional microphones were considered ideal for use in television studios and for television interviewing.
