Technics SP10 turntable with SME arm and Quad pre-amp. (NB has separate power supply).

Specially designed by Robert Handscomb. Made for the Film unit and used in dubbing theatres around the BBC. Unusual in that it uses the Quad pre-amp rather than a bespoke BBC designed unit and the SME tone arm, which was considered too delicate for normal studio use.
