Solid state FM transmitter. AM14/45/113. Manufactured by Edison Radio, Birmingham, on behalf of the BBC between 1980 and 1990.

This transmitter was created by the BBC's Design Studio to expand the power of the FM radio transmitter network. These transmitters would amplify the radio signal going into them, allowing the signal to reach further. Four transmitters would be used in parallel, so that if any of them were to fail the remaining working transmitters would still boost the signal.
