Pye B18T 9" Console Model television receiver.

These models were used as Studio monitors, as the price of designated monitors was very high. There is another version where the electronics were placed along side the tube so making it wide rather than tall. In 1946 Pye produced the B16T 9" table model using the EF50 valve it had developed years earlier. PYE B18T Television is a single channel TRF table set with a 9 inch CRT. In late 1948 a universal mains version apeared and in 1949 a Birmingham version became available.
