Watson Camera Diascope (Test Equipment)

Diascopes were used to set up the output of a colour camera without requiring a lit line up chart. Useful on outside broadcasts.
A special slide was fitted to the diascope which was displayed on the camera tube and so used to line up the camera.
This unit could be attached to any camera, many later lenses (2000 onwards) have diascopes built in.
