Beethoven Major S.G.4. Portable Radio Receiver, 1934. Serial No. KA12580. This battery set originally cost 10 Guineas, and featured MW and long wave bands in an Art Deco designed set and speaker, neatly contained in a blue-leatherette-covered suitcase. It is also identified as Model No. p.86. A small cardboard shop display advertisement for the set is inside the lid.
