Painting, British Air Transport, one of 7 studies, showing a de Havilland Airco D.H.4A and a prototype de Havilland Airco D.H.16 both of Aircraft Transport and Travel Ltd, by William Kempster ARCA, London, England, 1969. Part of a working idea for a part of a mural commissioned by the British Airports Authority for Terminal 1 of Heathrow Airport and unveiled 17 April 1969, on the theme: British air transport - the pioneering days 1919-1934, commemorating pioneers planes and early years of commercial passenger transport at Hounslow Heath in 1919 and continued at Croydon from 1920 until 1939.
