Lithograph, view of the London and Birmingham Railway when in course of construction by J. C. Bourne, published 1839. ‘Nash Mill Bridge Near King’s Langsly, Herts’. The print shows an iron bridge in middle ground over a river and rocks, with foliage and two figures in the foreground. There are young children playing by river bank and a boat on water in the distance. Also shows grazing horses and trees. Published as plate XV ‘East Side of Nash Mill Iron Bridge, Near King’s Langley, over the Grand Junction canal, 1838’, in ‘Drawings of the London and Birmingham Railway, by J. C. Bourne, with an historical and descriptive account by John Britton’, London : J. C. Bourne; Ackermann & Co.; C. Tilt, 1839 (inv. 1999-7495 / 2000-7644 / 2000-7769).
