Diwakar Karkare was one of the most respected and prolific poster designers in the Indian film industry. He created artwork for over 1,000 posters and booklets including for Don (1975), Sholay (1975), Deewar (1975), Amar Akbar Anthony (1977), Satyam Shivam Sundaram (1978) and Silsila (1981).
