Photographic negatives, glass, Southern Railway & constituent company works photographs (Curl Acquisition). Mainly Southern Railway and London & South Western Railway images, but also some London, Brighton & South Coast Railway images. Official portraits of locomotives and rolling stock, plus some component shots, images of works including Ashford, Eastleigh Longhedge and Nine Elms, and some images of London & South Western Railway trains in the landscape. Approx. 2000 images housed in card boxes as follows: 62 boxes containing 10” x 8” glass plate negatives 43 boxes containing half-plate (4.5” x 5.5”) glass plate negatives.
