The photograph shows a train fitted with a snow plough, stuck in a snow drift, it is taken from an album compiled to commemorate the royal visit to Canada of Albert, Prince of Wales (1841-1910). The album contains photographs of Canadian landscape, as well as scenes taken during the visit.
