Original Fleming oscilation valve, on wooden base with ebonite frame, (RMW/A3 - McVitie Weston number), Unknown maker, about 1905, invented by Sir (John) Ambrose Feming. In 'gallows' frame. Marked: “FLEMING OSCILLATION VALVE / 12 VOLTS / ROYAL EDISWAN" on bottom of glass, upside down. “15” stamped on top of wooden ‘gallows’.

Carbon hairpin filament. Cylindrical aluminium anode 24 mm diameter x 25.6mm long.
