Model of remotely operated vehicle submersible CONSUB 01, made by Reg Beasant, one of the design team at British Aircraft Corporation (BAC). The CONSUB 01 was built for for the Institute of Geological Sciences (IGS) to conduct bottom investigations in offshore waters and was also used in the North Sea.It was capable of obtaining hard rock cores.
