A photograph entitled 'Karnak - The Amon Temple' taken by Lehnert & Landrock of Cairo in the 1920s.
Rudolf Franz Lehnert (Austrian, 1878-1948) and Ernst Heinrich Landrock (German, 1878-1966). moved to Cairo, establishing the 'Oriental Art Publishing House'. They worked together until 1930. The photographs were, in fact, taken by Lehnert (who trained as an artist), while Landrock supplied the business acumen. DUP 1
