Apple TV digital media player, manufactured by Apple, 2010-2013. With remote control and power cable.
Initially intended as an accessory for Apple computers, Apple TV was originally launched in 2007 as a service for viewing media content from Apple’s iTunes online shop and other sources. It had a built-in hard drive for storing media. This original model of the hardware produced by Apple was discontinued after two years, and replaced with a much smaller, cheaper device that was used to stream media from the web, rather than storing it. Later models also allowed content to be streamed directly through iTunes, rather than having to use a computer or laptop as an intermediate device.
