Control Room instrument panel from the Dounreay Fast Reactor (DFR), made by Honeywell and the UK Atomic Energy Authority, Thurso, Scotland, 1959.

The Dounreay Fast Reactor was the prototype breeder reactor, installed at Thurso, Caithness in the north of Scotland. The reactor ran until 1977, when it was superceded by a larger prototype.
