Yellow ground disc signal, controlling movements from Box A siding to up main. Located on model railway layout, gauge 1, Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Signalling School, built 1912, by L&YR.

Ground disc signals, sometimes called a 'dolly' or 'dummy', are used to control shunting movments. Unlike a red ground disc signal, trains were sometimes permitted to pass yellow ground disc signals during shunting movements even when they were on, usually to enter a head shunt.
