The MC218 personal digital assistant (PDA) was a small, handheld computing device produced between 1997 and 2006. The design was licensed from Psion, a well known PDA manufacturer with a loyal following, and was based on their Psion Series 5mx. Designer, Martin Riddiford, found a way to fit a near full-sized keyboard into the pocket device, contributing the Psion’s popularity with business users.
