Remote control for Pace CANAL+ 'Le Cube' hybrid HD satellite TV/IPTV receiver and video recorder, manufactured by Pace plc, Hungary, 2009.

This striking piece of equipment was Europe's first satellite/internet television hybrid set-top box to use an Ethernet port for video-on-demand services. It was specially manufactured for the leading French Pay TV operator Canal, for use with its CANAL+ and CANALSAT services. It featured an innovative user-friendly interface for selecting programmes and could also record up to 100 hours of high definition (HD) television programming.
