Laboratory furniture from Manchester Municipal Technical School, consisting of: 1) a bench made of teak and pitch pine, with drawers, cupboard, sink and drainers, gas and water taps and bottle racks with ceramic plates liners for shelves, c.1900; 2) a bench probably made of mahogany and teak, with drawers, cupboards, long back drainer and sink fitted on end with water taps, and Scheaffer&Budenberg water pressure meter, c.1920; 3) a fume cupboard made of mahogany and hardboard, with work top made of concreate and lined with quarry tiles, with gas and water taps, back drainer and sliding vertical doors, 1974.
