Set of yarn balance weights with tweezers in a wooden case.
Textile workers and merchants used yarn balance weights to check the counts and quantities of yarn and cloth during production or before it was sold. The tweezers were used to place the weights onto the balance. This set is incomplete, some of the weights are missing.
