Loom pick, made from metal with a wooden handle.
This is a hand tool used in the textile industry to correct broken or irregular warp threads during the loom weaving process.
A weaver used the tool can draw individual warp threads through the heald and reed on a loom. The two recesses in the metal section were used to hook and draw the thread through the head before it was tied to the beam.
Loom picks were used by textile workers to ensure that the finished cloth was even and consistent.
