Pipe yarning chisel, used by Robert Stockley in Manchester in the 1980s.

The spigot and socket joint, on a cast iron pipe, are first filled with oakum and then driven tight with the yarning chisel. The joint is then filled with molten lead, and the lead is driven tight with a shorter caulking tool to make a water tight joint.
