Vapour lamp type discharge tube electrostatic demonstration device, 1910-1920.

This vapour lamp on stand was made in the early twentieth century. The flask has a neck at either end and clamping is via caps fitted over the neck, one being sealed completely and the other having an opening to the outside. The flask is filled with a crystalline powder.
