J.Casartelli & Son Ltd, Manchester & Liverpool, yarn balance hinged into a velvet lined presentation box with a set of three weights (linen, wool and cotton). Box also contains a small tin cylinder containing shaped wires to attach to the scale hooks, and

a wrapped, double edged razor blade.
