Frame containing a print and sketch of Henry Bequerel’s experiment into the radioactivity of Nitrate of Uranium that was presented to William Crookes, and a letter from Pierre Curie to Silvanus Thompson (1st president of BIR) containing a glass slide. The letter makes specific reference to the glass slides. The letter is signed P. Curie and is dated 22nd June 1900.
