Tallulah Bankhead
Silver gelatin print by Paul Tanqueray, c. 1930. Portrait of American actress Tallulah Bankhead (1902-1968) Born in 1902 in Alabama, USA, Bankhead came to England in 1923 and established her reputation in such plays as Noel Coward's "Fallen Angels", and Michael Arlen's "Green Hat".
