A photographic portrait of Marie Louise ' May' Du Maurier (1868-1934), taken by Julia Margaret Cameron (1815-1879) in 1874. One of the five children of George (1834-1896) and Emma Du Maurier, May was sketched many times by her father and was the original of Marty in his novel 'The Martian' (1897). Albumen print.
