A photographic study entitled 'The Kiss of Peace' of Florence Beatrice Anson (1860-1946) and Mary Ann Hillier (1847-1936), taken by Julia Margaret Cameron in about 1869. This carbon print was made in about 1875 from an original negative taken by Julia Margaret Cameron (1815-1879) in about 1869. Cameron had approximately seventy of her negatives printed as carbon prints by The Autotype Company between 1870 and 1880. Florence was the eldest daughter of Lord Lichfield. Mary Ann Hillier was Cameron's personal maid from 1861 to 1875.
