- Julia Margaret Cameron
A photographic portrait of Mrs Keene, entitled 'Cassiopea', taken by Julia Margaret Cameron (1815-1879) in 1866. Mrs Keene, like Angelo Colarossi, the model for Iago, appears to have been one of Cameron's rare professional models. She also sat for the Pre-Raphaelite painter Sir Edward Burne-Jones (1833-1898). In Greek mythology Cassiopeia was the wife of Cepheus and mother of Andromeda. Albumen print.
