Prototype POWER series projector with separate components, made by Digital Projection Ltd in Middleton, 1996. Plus a modern assembly board (with digital processor, interface and analogue input board amalgamated) and a 1080p digital mirror device.

Digital Projection used the DMD technology developed by Texas Instruments to create the first DLP projectors on the market.

This development work took place at their headquarters in Middleton, Greater Manchester As such, this projector is amongst the first ever built to display a moving digital image, developed in Greater Manchester. Individual components of POWER series projectors represent a digital interface, analogue input board, digital processing board, XGA digital mirror device and prism assembly.
