Ticket [?], paper, ticket for the Rev. Jeremiah Scholefield to travel from Leeds by the York & North Midland Railway, half past seven o' clock morning, Dec. 12th 1842. The ticket, if it is a ticket, is handwritten. On the other side is a label or business card for John Holmes, a whitesmith, of Leeds, and there are several leaves of paper inbetween the ticket and business card. The ticket was found nailed to the back of a cupboard in the Old Rectory, Barton-on-the-Heath, Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire, where the Rev. Scholefield lived.
