Photograph entitled 'Isabel & Adeline Somers, My Sister Virginia's Children' taken by Julia Margaret Cameron in 1864. Albumen contact print from wet collodion negative. This photographic portrait of Isabella Caroline Somers-Cocks (1852-1920) and Adeline Marie Somers-Cocks (1852-1920) forms part of the Herschel Album, created by Cameron for her friend Sir John Herschel (1792-1871). Adeline and Isabel were the daughters of Lord Eastnor and Cameron's sister, Virginia.
