Prototype for a series of twelve watches with lever escapements, each with 21 jewels in gold chatons, set in gilded and engraved plates. The engine-turned silver dials show the hours, seconds and date, the date-work being Roger Smith’s unique design. The cases are hand-made in 18 carat gold, with sapphire crystals to the backs and fronts.
This watch is a prototype, containing the case, dial and hands, but no movement.
