Super Robot with box packaging, manufactured by Horikawa, Japan, 1977

This toy robot by Horikawa came with a range of design variations, including gold-plated details or silver feet. It used what is described as the almost-standard 'Rotate-O-Matic Walk' - that is, it walks, stops, the chest doors open, and then the guns within fire. The model has some attractive lithographed detail, and sold well enough to still be in production in 1985.
