RaceWare developed this fitting for use in track cycling. 3D printing company 3T RPD printed the product. It was first tested and used at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester. The custom nature of the designs allowed for quick and inexpensive adjustments. The performance benefits of 3D printing process meant professional race team bicycles used RaceWare’s products.
The narrow margins in efficiency for bikes and cyclists at this level mean only the most successful components are approved for the cycling ‘Pro Tour’. This component demonstrates the cutting-edge technology used in Manchester track cycling and the international success of technology developed there.
