Silver-gilt verge escapement watch in the shape of a dove by Soret et Jay, Europe. The lower part of the dove hinges to form a lid for the watch, engraved with a coat of arms. The oval movement has a worm-and-wheel set-up and a screwed on balance cock. Signed ‘Soret et Jay’.
