Gold-cased ‘souscription’ watch by Abraham-Louis Breguet, Paris, France, c.1805. Gold case stamped ‘442’ and ‘B1411’. White enamel ‘souscription’ dial with hour hand only. No 'secret' signature present as is usual for Breguet. Movement with ruby cylinder escapement of Breguet’s special type. Brass balance with 'parachute' shockproof settings and compensation curb. Signed on the movement ‘Breguet No. 1411’.
