Verge escapement travelling coach watch movement, with striking and alarm by Edward East, London

Gilt dial plate with engraved border and silver hour ring. Large alarm disc covered with flowers and foliage. Oval pierced balance cock, screwed to the plate. Silver count wheel. Chain and fusee. Four wheel train. Signed ‘Eduardus East, London’. Mid-17th century.
