Incomplete movement, dial and brass inner case from a marine timekeeper by Alexander Cumming. London c. 1770. Movement with large pierced and engraved balance bridge with diamond endstone. Balance missing. Backplate signed 'Grant, Fleet Street, London, 2639'. Dial originally marked with Cumming's name, and subsequently removed. Clockmakers' Museum No. 1284

Pair-cased gold half-quarter repeating watch by John Pepys. Outer case in gold or silver gilt repoussé, with pierced and engraved border. Inner gold case pierced and engraved, and hallmarked for 1742, with a makers mark probably for Daniel Aveline. White enamel dial and (later) gold hands. Cylinder escapement with diamond endstone. Backplate signed 'Jno Pepys London 3516'.
