Triple cased enamel watch by Markwick Markham & Perigal, London, hallmarked 1813.

Gold and enamel triple cases for the Turkish Market. Inner case plain gold with casemaker’s mark 'AN', middle and outer cases with scalloped edges and enamelled throughout. The outer case with an engine-turned back, and a river scene enamelled over the top. Middle case enamelled and glazed on the back. Dial with Turkish numerals, signed 'Markwick Markham, Perigal London'. Movement with verge escapement, jewelled endstone and signed ‘Markwick Markham Perigal London, 41859.’ Clockmakers' Museum No. 719
