Quarter-repeating gold watch by Abraham-Louis Breguet, Paris, sold in 1819 to Lord Darnley. Gold engine-turned case. Silver engine-turned dial with subsidiary dials for seconds and calendar. Signed Breguet et Fils on the edge of the dial. Movement with lever escapement and gong repeating work. Signed ‘Breguet No. 3107’ on the cuvette. Clockmakers' Museum No. 1138
