Gold wristwatch by George Daniels, with a movement manufactured by Omega. 18 carat gold case with black leather strap, embossed in gold with 'Daniels, London'. Engine-turned silver dial, with gold hands and chapter rings. Automatic movement with co-axial escapement, manufactured by Omega, and signed 'Daniels'. Movement set in an engraved border, signed 'Co-axial escapement'. With gold embossed, blue leather presentation box by Daniels London.

Omega launched its first production watches with the Daniels co-axial escapement in 1999. At that time, George Daniels purchased fifty Omega ébauches (unfinished movements) as a basis for a limited edition of watches bearing his own name, of which this is one. The gold case, the engine-turned silver dial-plate with gold chapters and hands were all made in Daniels’ workshop. The hand engraving, found on the dial and movement, was completed by Charles Scarr in Clerkenwell, London. George Daniels served as Master of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers in 1980, and presented this watch to its museum in 2002. Clockmakers Museum No. 1255
