Newspaper cutting containing an image of the Hawaiian God of War, Ku Kailimoku. The head is composed of basketry and feathers, and has `mother of pearl' eyes, human hair and dog teeth. It is thought that Ashton kept the image as inspiration for his special effects make-up in 'The Mummy' (1959).
