Detachable human kidney model, made of plaster, part of a life size female anatomical figure, c. 1900.

This model kidney is from a life size female anatomical figure and is made out of plaster. Half of the figure reveals the subcutaneous structure of the body and panels can be detached to reveal the positions of the internal organs, some of which can in turn be removed.
